Global Risk Management began commercial operations in 2004 under Bunker Holding, building expertise in fuel hedging for global shipping and energy-intensive industries.As demand for structured hedging grew, GRM became a licensed investment firm in 2018, authorised under the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority.
n August 2022, GRM became an independent company directly under USTC ownership, joining the Group’s portfolio of strategically important entities. This transition solidified GRM’s role as a direct contributor to USTC’s broader energy and risk management portfolio, while preserving its specialised focus and regulatory independence.
Today, GRM operates independently under USTC’s long-term ownership, delivering strategic financial services to clients worldwide and helping protect business continuity in an increasingly complex energy landscape.
