SDK FREJA’s history is deeply tied to USTC’s origin story. It traces back to 1876, when a small shipbroker in Fredericia laid the foundation for what would become a cornerstone of Denmark’s shipping and logistics landscape. Over the decades, SDK expanded steadily through the acquisition of maritime and logistics firms, evolving into a modern, full-service logistics provider.
In 2020, a major milestone was reached when SDK A/S merged with FREJA Transport & Logistics Holding A/S. This merger brought together two large, family-owned businesses consolidating strength, market knowledge, and geographic reach under one name: SDK FREJA.
Today, SDK FREJA plays a central role in the USTC Group’s transport and logistics portfolio. While operating independently, the company benefits from long-term family ownership, a strong governance framework, and the strategic perspective that defines USTC Group.
